Been breaking and repairing computers since 1997, don’t worry...I repair much more than I break!
I’m a down to earth tech from the Bronx in New York City. I started my journey with computers with an Old Compaq 300 Mhz Celeron, 64 MB of Ram, 8 Gig Harddrive and 4 MB Riva TNT Video Chip.
Sadly I eventually broke it! Miss you old buddy, you will be remembered!
I am self taught, in which my knowledge has derived from reading books and informational websites. Back in 1997 I opened up my first computer. I didn’t know what was going on, so naturally I kept taking things apart. I continued taking things apart until the computer itself failed to turn back on. I kept researching and learning how the components worked. Years passed on as I continued to buy new and exciting parts that actually fit into my old motherboard. Eventually with alittle luck I built my first PC, it’s been never-ending love from then on. Hopefully one day I will make enough money to actually buy a spell checker for this short story.
I like to build them and experiment with new components, one of my favorite companies is Asus.
My Current Build is
Asus P6x58D Premium Motherboard
Intel Core i7 980 3ghz Overlocked Watercooled
18 Gigs of PC3 16000 DDR3 2000
4 TeraBytes of Harddrive Space with 2 Crucial SSD 128GB Drives
Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 1GB PCI-Express Card
As you can see, my self built computer has gone a long ways from my Old Compaq Presario
